Lock Character Sheet for Locksport

My contribution to the LPU Community. 

For my blue belt, I very much wanted to create some free asset for my fellow pickers to have and aid them on their picking journey. Since many of the practical things, such as pick handles and pinning mats, have been done several times over, I thought hard about creating something original. While talking with friends and taking down notes about my process in picking a new and difficult lock, it hit me.

As both a big note-taker and DnD player, I came up with a Lock Character Sheet. This sheet is designed to help the picker record their findings as they pick the lock, with sections like:

Lock Name and Nickname

LPU Belt classification

Pins: each pin would have its own section to record notes for things like picking order or pin type

Tension Level: High, Med, Low

Vise Used

Key Shape section for picker to trace the key and record key numbers

Picked, Gutted, Reasembled checkbox section, along with date and fastest time

General Notes

The Locksporter would fill the sections out after a pick attempt and have gained info about the lock but haven't successfully picked it yet. Then on their next attempt, theyll be able to recall these notes and easily continue or verify their findings. This is both helpful and a fun activity for pickers, as it will not only help pickers be methodical in the process by easily remembering past attempts, but also have a physical catalogue of their locks they can flip through.

I aim to make better versions of this sheet, as well as sheets for different types of locks the farther I get on my locksport journey and from community feedback.
